Fusion2Go RV Cell Booster
I didn’t install this today… I don’t make holes in my RV willingly :) I purchased a retractable pile for $30 from Amazon and installed the antenna from SureCall. It’s always a bit frustrating in this particular spot because my hotspot hovers at 1 bar and sometimes just looses the signal. Hence my TV a stops streaming or my download stops. Since I plugged this device in, I do NOT get 4 or 5 bars like I hoped, but I do get a steady unwavering 2 bars and so far after about 4 days, I have not lost a movie in the middle of streaming, or any Spotify music. I’ve not gone to anywhere with really bad reception… but I want to be ready when I get on the road to at least get something… will update this review one day. But indeed, at least from a bar number, I’ve indeed doubled the reception. I do not lose signal and it’s stead at a 2 rather than wavering from nothing to 1 bar. The true test is do I stay connected. So far, that answer is yes. The quality seems good, from the 12 volt wire and adapter to plug in to a cigarette lighter adapter, to the 110 power adapter. The box itself is quality and tough looking. The antenna , wrapped up carefully has a good rebuts feel to it. I hope my pole never falls down… I simply tie it up outside when I need it. May or may not permanently install depending on how buggy places are and how well this works. I will store it inside when travelling. Internet is VERY important to me, running a YouTube channel … and needing constant connection to google and other… so hoping this does the trick. I just can’t commit to Starlink yet…… such an expensive commitment. I hope this can be my permanent solution to use much cheaper cellular data! I will try to update this if it’s accessible in a few months once I’ve given it more of a test, but so far, I’m impressed. Nice to not have anything interrupted anymore!
