Silicon Valley Company to Watch: SureCall

Posted by Dennis Findley on 15th Nov 2018

SureCall recognized in multiple award publications including third year on Inc. 5000 for fast and sustained multi-year growth within the telecom sector.

Silicon Valley Tech Company to Watch

SureCall, the performance leading cell phone signal booster manufacturer, generated 111-percent three-year growth and celebrates their third year on the Inc. 5000 List of Fastest Growing Companies. Rounding out 2018, the Silicon Valley based innovator has also earned their spot on Silicon Valley Business Journal’s Fast Private Award and San Francisco Business Times’ list of 100 Fastest Growing Private Companies in the San Francisco Bay Area.

SureCall’s cell phone boosters connect cell phone users in homes, offices and vehicles by improving weak cell phone signals for all cell carriers in North America. The signal booster industry experienced substantial growth in 2017 and SureCall was positioned at the top for a few key reasons, which SureCall’s founder and CEO, Hongtao Zhan explains.

Hong Zhan SureCall Founder“We are having a lot of fun as we focus on each of the areas that contribute to our bottom-line and that’s product quality, innovating to solve specific customer needs, and meeting or exceeding our customers’ expectations,” said Zhan. “We also have a super network of SureCall partners that contribute to our success. Big wins like this wouldn’t be possible without all of their hard work, dedication and trust in our signal boosters.”

Weak in-building cell phone service impacts roughly 20-percent of buildings in the US on the radio frequencies we currently use for 3G and 4G LTE communication. SureCall signal boosters continue to be deployed in these buildings to provide better cell reception to all users regardless of their wireless provider.

“In regards to 5G, the majority of 5G signals will simply not penetrate into buildings because these are transmitted at such high frequencies,” explained Zhan. “Our research suggests more than 90% of buildings will have weak 5G cell phone signals inside and this means our industry will see a huge uptick in demand. We want all cellular users to benefit from this exciting new technology and we’re developing products to make that happen.”

Further Development As Performance Leader

Known for improving cell service in all areas, SureCall goes above and beyond for its rural customers. The company recently announced two new products; Flare 3.0, which is the best signal booster for small homes and an update to Fusion4Home that delivers even better cell service for medium size homes. These new and improved versions of the Company’s original Flare and Fusion4Home signal boosters have 2X more uplink power than the closest competitor, which allows them to reach faraway cell towers.

Frankie Smith Headshot“Our new and improved Flare 3.0 and Fusion4Home boosters have some serious power,” said an excited Frankie Smith, vice president of sales at SureCall. “We connect our urban and suburban customers and now have two products that will do the same for a segment of the population that has been mostly overlooked by many of the cellular providers.”

SureCall’s big wins are made possible by the bold and innovative products they produce to deliver better cell service to the extremes and everywhere in between. The Company will continue improving 3G and 4G LTE service and has signal boosters for 5G in development to meet the in-building coverage needs of this exciting, new cellular generation.
