Very important part of the unit.
I didnt realize how important this interior whip antenna was until I was barely getting a signal. I thought it was my unit failing for a long time. Then I decided to try and replace this whip with a new one. I went from getting one bar and sometimes getting two bars, to instantly getting 3 and 4 bars after replacing my old one. My older whip must have gotten damaged somehow and I had no idea that it was the issue, and how very important this part of the unit actually is until now. If you ever find yourself not getting good signals. Dont just think your unit failed. Try replacing this first. It is an extremely important part of how your unit is able to work. And it works very well.
